Whys It So Quiet
Well, what do you know about transfers... because that happened. They took me out of my little Los Postes, and I'll never forget that place; it has a piece of my heart. I will never forget walking for hours looking for an apartment... sugared peanuts... fruit hauls... how the heavens opened when we would have companionship study... smiling so hard my face hurt.
It was truly a blessing for me to start my mission in this area.
This week went a little something like this...
Monday, we had a going-away party for Hermana Mackay, and I had to tell the members that I was leaving too... tears were shed, and it was so sad.
Tuesday, I said goodbye to Hermana Mackay for the day because she spends the last day with President and Hermana Porter. So, Hermana Hardy and I went home, packed, said peace to the zone... talked about everything... and then THE BEST THING... we got to go to the temple with Hermano Marco for his first time. Truly a blessing to be able to have that last night.
Wednesday was transfers... we dropped Hermana Mackay off and had to say goodbye for real. I will forever be grateful for her and the impact she has had on me! Then we went and got my things, and I had to say goodbye to Hermana Hardy. That was sad—I won't go into details.
MANGOMARCA
So now I am in Mangomarca. This little city is so quiet, and the work is pretty slow... but it's an amazing opportunity for us to see many miracles while we try and find some people to teach!
Luckily, you guys, my new companion Hermana Del Carpio is an angel and is helping me so much with my Spanish.
For now, that's kind of all... I'm really excited to get to work and hopefully help some of the people here!
I love you all! Always remember—I love you, God loves you, and Jesus loves you!!
