That One Time When They All Left Me
So transfers are happening again... have no idea how that happened so fast... I am the only hermana staying in Mangomarca... I am happy to stay but sad to see them all leave. My new compañera is new... Hermana Guerra... I am very excited and also terrified, so pray for your girl.
We had Hermana Carmen's baptism on Friday, which was just so pure and lovely. We started teaching her a week into this transfer, and it's been a blessing to see her change her life. I am always in awe and amazement at the amount of love I feel for these people. Their covenants with the Savior are a reminder of how special they are; they are a gift that should be cherished and held close to one's heart.
I, like everyone else, loved General Conference. I came away with such a grateful heart and feel an abundance of gratitude to be able to be one of the Lord's missionaries at this time. To be able to testify that Jesús Christ lives. He lives for you. He is your Savior and your Redeemer. That has more power than I think we realize.
I find myself most nights just thanking Heavenly Father for this life... there aren't many words, I'm just grateful.
Thank you all for the support and love!
Hermana Lefler
