Walter × 2
Hello, happy April! So today was P-day because we got to go to the temple! That was the best thing of my life! Did my first endowment in Spanish and it's just as beautiful as English. I'm truly grateful for the temple, the sacredness of the temple is so out of the ordinary for Perú, it was a need for sure.
We did a little servicio and got to hike up a cerro... don’t have the best picture but the view was to die for!

We are teaching a man named Walter whose wife and son are both members of the church. He has felt a very large pull to follow their examples and be baptized. The lessons in their home are some of my favorites, he is always very grateful for the lessons we have and the spirit that we bring into their home. When we were talking about baptism, we asked him if Jesús was here right now and asked you to be baptized, what would you say... we all sat there for what felt like a year, it was really only ten seconds... but the spirit was tangible when he said yes. I couldn't help but beam. I smiled so big the rest of the day my face hurt. (I find that to be most days if I'm being honest.)

I got a little visit from some of my favorite people, the Combs. They were in Perú for a family trip over a Sunday and drove an hour to my ward, and I had no idea until they were sitting here in Mangomarca, a little piece of home right here in San Juan De Lurigancho.
This next week we have 2 baptisms, General Conference, and cambios. I have realized that I thrive in the crazy and I can’t wait to see what Heavenly Father’s got in the works for this next little bit.
I don't have time to explain but D&C 6:32-37 changed my life, maybe it will change yours too!
