Remember That One Time...

Ahhhhhh, everyone hi! Happy Monday! I hope you all had a great week! It was a packed week for us, so here are some of the highlights!

We started the week with conferencia de zona. My biggest takeaway was to let the scriptures penetrate your heart. I loved this so much! Allow them to change who you are. The Book of Mormon is truly one of the greatest gifts, to truly know the Savior and His mercy through the lives and testimonies of prophets called of God.

On Tuesday, we found out that some sisters in our misión have lice... and they came to zona conferencia without trying to get rid of it... and... I sat right next to them... We found out and immediately checked our hair... we do not have lice!

I was reading in Jacob 4, and in verse 12 it says: "And now, beloved, marvel not that I tell you these things, for WHY NOT speak of the Atonement of Christ, and attain to a perfect knowledge of Him..." I just love this. Why not? Why would we not want to learn all we can of the Savior—His love, His goodness, His sacrifice?

I got pooped on by a bird.

One of our friends is progressing really well. He has a very religious background and is truly looking for the truth. At the beginning of the week, we invited him to study the Book of Mormon, and in his first sitting, he made it to chapter 18... and he believes it is the Word of God. He said that he will always come to church... unless he breaks his foot.

Sunday was one of the best days. We had a BAUTISMO. It was perfect and truly just a day full of miracles and opposition.

I love you all,
Hermana Lefler
